Legendary's MonsterVerse Teases Rodan, Ghidorah in New Video
Legendary titillated the MonsterVerse origins of Godzilla's opponents Rodan and King Ghidorah in anticipation of 2022's Godzilla: King of the Monsters.
Godzilla is about to have some competition. In a new video, Fabled Amusement titillated the MonsterVerse origins of Godzilla's opponents Rodan and King Ghidorah in prediction of 2022's Godzilla: King of the Monsters.
The video shows a timeline of Sovereign's activities as they monitored and documented the existence of gigantic creatures on Earth since the events of Kong: Skull Island, which was fix in 1973. The clip starts with Monarch quarantining a volcano on Isla De Mona in 1991, which hints at Roda, an irradiated Pteranodon that nests along volcanoes every bit seen in his debut featureRodan (1956).

The video then cuts to a direct reference to the three-headed, flying dragon-look-alike kaiju known as Ghidorah, which was found "sealed beneath the Antarctic internal-combustion engine shield" in 2022, two years after the events of Godzilla in San Francisco. The marker, labeled as "Monster Zero," too contains a footnote from Monarch butterfly's Dr. Vivienne Graham (Sally Hawkins) that says "the devil has three heads," which makes it clear that this giant is indeed Ghidorah.

According to the studios' press waiver, Godzilla: King of the Monsters leave follow "the heroic efforts of the crypto-zoological agency Monarch as its members face sour against A battery of Supreme Being-threepenny monsters, including the mighty Godzilla, WHO collides with Mothra, Rodan, and his ultimate nemesis, the three-headed King Ghidorah. When these old super-species — thought to be mere myths — rise again, they each compete for supremacy, leaving world's rattling being hanging in the residue."
Releasing in theaters on Edge 22, 2022, Godzilla: King of the Monsters is a production of Legendary Amusement directed away Michael Dougherty and prima Vera Farmiga, Ken Watanabe, Sally Hawkyns, Kyle Chandler, Millie Bobby Brownness, Bradley Whitford, Thomas Middleditch, Charles Dance, O'Shea Jackson Jn., Aisha Hinds and Zhang Ziyi.
